Mowing

​Proper Mowing

 

Mowing should occur on a weekly basis weather permitting and no more than 1/3 of the total height should be removed in a single mowing.

Tall Fescue & Blue Grasses

 

In our area blue grass should be maintained at roughly 2.5"-3" tall while tall fescue grasses should be mowed around 3"-3.5". This will help keep the weeds down while improving the root system of the grasses compared to grass that get cut shorter.
